“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together."

I'm in a book! During the heart of the pandemic, I was invited to participate in "The Great American Paint In". It was a special online gallery show focused on artists and their artwork during the pandemic. It was an honor to be included with a great grouping of wonderful artists. They have now turned the exhibition into a great coffee table art book featuring the artwork and stories. Copies are available for purchase on Amazon if you are interested.

Show season is still in full swing. I was recently juried into the online Charleston Art Guild Signature Show. You can view all the artwork in the video below.

I have or will have my art in several additional shows. You can always see the list of current and upcoming shows and exhibitions on my website. Go by and see my artwork in person at any of the exhibit locations if you get a chance.

I recently spent most of a week at Ft. McAllister State Park in Georgia (just south of Savannah). It was several wonderful days dedicated to plein air painting the beautiful landscape there in the company of great artist friends. We are fortunate to enjoy this great location each fall with intracoastal waterway, river, forest and marsh views.

The new Ornamental Shadows series is coming along nicely! This six piece series of paintings is based on old fashioned Christmas ornaments. I'm so excited about how they are coming out! I think these will be great little presents for you or someone special in your life. This series will be released publicly on Wednesday December 8. As a special thank you to YOU as a subscriber, I will release the series to you early, on Monday December 6. I think they will go fast! PLUS, as a special holiday treat, I will draw one name from all email subscribers as of December 6 to receive a free $25 gift certificate toward the purchase of one of these ornament paintings (or any of my other artwork). So please encourage anyone else you think might enjoy my messages, and like a chance to win the drawing, to sign up now at!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my messages. Let me know what you think, I love hearing from you!

Until next time,
