Celebrating Local Art

I'm a big believer in the value to be gained by learning from other artists. As I embarked on my art journey, I was fortunate to find one of the best art leagues around is based out of Crooked Creek Park - just around the corner from us. It's been a real pleasure for me to serve as President for the league for the past two years. What a wonderful group of kind and talented people. I have learned so much from them and made many good friends.

Crooked Creek Art League holds a Juried Show and Sale each year. This year will be our 23rd Annual Show. All the artwork came in this weekend and is now on display at the park. Go by and check it out if you can! The artwork will be on display now through March 24 and the awards reception will be held Monday March 19. It's open to the public as well so you can come to support local artists and see who wins this year's prizes.
